This twelve-physician medical facility is on the campus of St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. The owner’s program includes introducing machine-like efficiency to the flow of patients, information, and the professional staff’s daily activities, while conforming to new HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) practice requirements. It also includes design for the Idaho Neurological Institute; a separate, short term, sub-tenant in an area designated for future expansion. Our team was directed to create a relaxing and non-clinical atmosphere for patients who are experiencing a great deal of pain, and for a staff who are under a great deal of stress.
